Ambiguous Instructions about wp-maintenance-mode HOT 7 CLOSED

Can you understand this:

The plugin allow custom stylesheet for the splash page. Create a stylesheet .css and leave this on a public url, like the wp-content folder of your install or other one. Add this URL (inlcude http://) to the options of WP Maintenance Mode and select the theme option "Own Theme". The plugin will include this file inside the head of the splash page. See the markup of the default splash page below.

The plugin allow to use a custom splash page, custom markup. Leave a file with the string wp-maintenance-mode.php inside the wp-content directory. You can start with the source code of the site.php inside this plugin folder.

But there is no "Own Theme" option, it's not that the wording needs rephrasing, it's that it assumes and implies things, or described options that aren't actually there.

e.g. above, there is no 'own theme' option. I can surmise you meant 'Own Style' but theme suggests PHP+html, not css

I'd suggest renaming the option from theme to style, and using style in all references rather than theme
