After the video loads and plays the first couple of seconds the frames drop because the script this extension uses takes time to run to modify the website and player. I don't use this extension currently because youtube has gotten soo laggy for me the past couple of years and my 2014 low end amd laptop isn't doing very well with rendering the video even at lower resolutions like 720p or 480p.

There should be no significant increase in load on any Laptop.
And we will be keen to track down such a bug as a first priority.
@Stopstealingmynamful how much difference without ImprovedTube, does the difference persist always?
@thepcwiz101 Did you try enabling our option for the h264 codec though?

@ImprovedTube yes i have lol. If i disable 60fps it's not nearly as bad. I haven't used the extension since a few months ago but i will try again to see what happens.
