Error when using `msg_post` about cocoos HOT 1 CLOSED

Turns out I misunderstood the usage of msg_post. Appears that it's not intended to be called outside of a task open/close. Moving the call inside of task_open(); & task_close(); resolved the issue:

  task_open();
  for (;;) {
    StateMsg msg;
    // ...
    msg_post(mainTaskId, msg);
    task_wait(6);
  }
  task_close();
}
