what splinter version you installed?

the docs was written for the 0.0.3-dev version

from splinter.

I am using splinter 0.0.3dev installed by 'pip install splinter'. Searching the source code of splinter, I've found click_link_by_text function, but it is not a member of Browser:

'''

from splinter.browser import Browser
browser = Browser()
browser.visit('http://somepage/')
browser.click_link_by_text('Test Link')
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "", line 1, in
AttributeError: 'WebDriver' object has no attribute 'click_link_by_text'

'''

As I understood in the documentation this is the right way to do this, right? Or am I using the function incorrectly?

I believe that I have found the problem.

The source code is correct in Github, but the package available for download (0.0.3dev) isn't updated.

There is no click_link_by_text method in DriverAPI class in the package pip downloads.

Please, check :-)
