Where exactly did you add that check? I added a check (e58f1fd) at the beginning of param and it seems to work fine. You should also be able to get the backtrace through a debugger, could you supply it?

I had added it in line 398 from the snippet above. I tried pulling your change and recompiling, here's the backtrace now.

The issue seems to be in the code generation phase. Alignment issues like this are almost always caused by multiple calls to ctx.with_vars, which I should really make safer.
