If you have the time to add a test case for this, that would be great! We use Pester for unit tests. There are already a few examples in this project. Feel free to add as many as you wish :).
A CI would also be great, but at a later time.

I'd actually like to learn pwsh, and perhaps do this by contributing to this project. :)
Would you like me to add a PR with a test case for this issue?
Also, are you interested in adding CI to this project? I could help setting it up, for example, with the microsoft/powershell container in Travis.
