What does this have to do with Clear Linux? It does contain multiple versions of some packages where useful, but not the entire catalogue.

It is indeed not related to clearlinux specifically, it should be a problem with the entire linux. It is a dependency problem. A linux system will not have two different versions of dependencies in one installation manager, so it often leads to dependency conflicts. Just a thought.

No, I said the root of the problem is dependency conflict, if a package manager allows installation of 2 different versions of the inventory, and is like .net3 and .net4 in windows, there will be no dependency conflict. You didn't understand what I meant
