What was the hex code ou used? You shouldn't ever need to modify the control that way, so if you've found a bug we should try to get it fixed instead. Either that or perhaps your hex was invalid?

Thanks to reply claviska.

The hex code that I used is the same that miniColor return. I persist the hex in database mysql and when I return the data from database the '.minicolors-swatch span' doesn't change the color.

Yes, I shouldn't modify the control like that, but I needed to deliver the feature. It was my only solution besides fix the bug and send a pull request.

Any ideias?

I using Chrome 25.0 on Mac OS X 10.6.

Ok, can you provide a step-by-step / minimal test case to help me reproduce it? Thanks :)

This just came to mind...are you setting the input's value directly or are you using the API? Example:

$('INPUT').minicolors('value', '#abcdef')
