I managed to get FF4 to let me debug this in a Win7 VM on linux and encountered the problem described, I had to alter the core lighting input set-up, none of the lighting was working properly -- The latest patches for that are committed and test fine here in the VM with nearly all of the samples so it should be ok to run with ANGLE enabled.
