RocksDB integration about neo-python HOT 5 CLOSED

I've tried quite a bit to get rocksdb building on OSX and working with python to no avail. Any hints are appreciated!

What error did you hit, @localhuman? When I setup it the first time on ubuntu, I did hit some problem with installation, have to change the make command a little bit to compile the library, not sure if this is the same problem as what you have seen.

A lot of neo-python users use macOS as operating system and it looks very hard to get the python lib to compile. I tried too, unsuccessfully. We'd need a guide for non-Linux users on how to set things up.

Seems it works like this for now (thanks to @ixje):

brew install rocksdb
CFLAGS='-mmacosx-version-min=10.7 -stdlib=libc++' pip install python-rocksdb

I've made a PR to python-rocksdb to enable those cflags by default on osx: twmht/python-rocksdb#20
