issue Packer Template build stops on keyboard layout select screen about boilerplates HOT 2 CLOSED

I managed to solve it with my own. In case anyone needs to know the issue.

It was not working because cloud init was not working as my building host was not on differaent vlan than the packer host. Also you should be aware that the building host need to receive the ip with the same subnet of packer host.

this still didn't work for me, and I'm setting it up with ubuntu focal. it is in the same vlan and subnet, yet it still brings me back to the regular ubuntu installation. I also had to disable ipv6 just so it could expose itself to just ipv4, and it still didn't work. when I tried opening the http server packer created, it works fine. i wonder what I'm doing wrong with mine?
