The R3x devices are known to have issues with quality sd cards especially with the 2nd sd card slot. Devices such as the RG351MP and other higher quality devices don't have these issues using the same kernel.

You have either a bad sd card, a sd card that's not compatible with the device or the 2nd slot is bad on your unit. I don't support the R36s units. You can go here for more info on support. https://aeolusux.github.io/ArkOS-R3XS/

Hi @christianhaitian thank you for responding quickly, I know you do not support the R36S, but I think it might be a kernel related issue, with setting the speed on the port. I don't think the issue is with the SD card itself, as I was able to verify it with f3. It might be the size and spec maybe (it's Sandisk Extreme Pro 128GB / U3 / A2) with a chapter card it does seems to work, but I do see this messages on insert.

[ 419.406620] mmc_host mmc1: Bus speed (slot 0) = 400000Hz (slot req 400000Hz, actual 400000HZ div = 0)

So if you think there is nothing else to do here, you can keep the issue closed.

Thank for all your efforts.

Is there an option to set the port speed, like with the RPi?

Maybe in the kernel. Not sure from boot.ini. Kernel source is here:< https://github.com/christianhaitian/linux/tree/rg351 >
