Figured out what the culprit was and requested if support for M1 / ARM may be added to opencv4nodejs-prebuilt library (which node-midi and thus easymidi depend on). Here is the request submitted: https://github.com/nut-tree/opencv4nodejs/issues/14

Correction 🙈 its not actually easymidi and node-midi which are the "issue" it was the package @nut-tree/nut-js which was due for an update anyways. And the update does not use opencv4nodejs at all. So I'll be working to have a new working version out soon.
