0 file size when opening multiple files about phat HOT 2 CLOSED

Testing on 21 Jan 2017 points to issue being in the write, post, recieve loop of fastq data in the input window. This is a side effect of enabling multi window support for the input window and the async nature of the file size calculation. We will have to implement a synchronous size calculation in the input model.

Some research into a cross platform method to do this with node is required. The node docs for the fs module are ambiguous as to whether their file stay methods are cross platform.

We could also alternatively wrap the current cross platform C++ implementation as a node native add on.
