Hi,

as you correctly said storing the secret on the clientside is a bad idea. Therefore this plugin does not support that. PKCE on the other hand does not force you to do so.

If I understand correctly you do not use this plugin at all.

Although there are less information on your project available, I'm pretty sure that Spring Security OAuth is not needed to accomblish OAuth on your single page application. I would use this plugin to get authenticated and then create a JWT on your Spring backend containing all the authorization data you need to check the permissions on every REST call.

As your question is not related to this plugin I can not give you more advice than that. There are better places to ask such questions like Stackoverflow.
