covid19casetracker icon covid19casetracker

I constructed a program using Python that tracks the total number of COVID 19 cases and deaths in the United States from the CDC. This program updates daily and provides the user to see the number of Covid-19 cases and deaths in their state as well as the rest of the states in the United States.

webmap icon webmap

I created a webmap using python and Folium and in the webmap I use a controllable control panel in which allows you to see how many volcanoes are present in the United States, as well as the population size for every country. For the volcanoes in America they are represented with colored circle markers. The green markers represent volcanoes with an elevation of less than 1000 meters, the orange markers represents volcanoes with an elevation of at least 1000 meters and less than 3000 meters, and finally the red represents volcanoes with an elevation of 3000 or more meters. As for the population for each country the color yellow represents population sizes that are less than 10 million, green represents a population sizes of at least 10 million but, no greater than 20 million and red represents a country with a population size of at least 20 million or higher.
