You can use the new shell option to set it to /bin/sh -e -c if you like

@gtirloni sorry about this, we're planning to improve the error messages. The issue here is that we invoke bash to execute commands so that we can support multi-lines, your container doesn't have bash, which is the error you are getting:
docker: Error response from daemon: OCI runtime create failed: container_linux.go:348: starting container process caused "exec: \"bash\": executable file not found in $PATH": unknown.
Ideally we should be using /bin/sh, which would work in your alpine container.
