Plugin keeps connection open about vlc-htsp-plugin HOT 2 CLOSED

This plugin is basicaly two plugins.
The discovery plugin, which has its own connection to receive the channel list and updates to it.
The discovery plugin only provides htsp:// urls, which vlc then passes to the access plugin.
There is no way these plugins could share a connection. If you want VLC to only use one connection, never open the channel list, it won't load the discovery plugin then.

So maybe discovery plugin should close its connection after obtaining channels list? I dont see any reason to keep it open all the time. There is not much probability anything will change to let it keep tracking changes, IMHO.
