Upload stops at 50%, I wanted to setup web interface for sift or surf feature point detection and thought this project will help, but this is not even running properly.

Asalaam alikum,
Solved: Create "uploads" folder in face-detect folder containing face-detect.php and set permissions to 777, and if you copy the face-detect.exe file after compiling in the same folder then add the path of the executable
$cmd = 'export PATH=$PATH:/var/www/web-face-detect/face-detect; face-detect --input="'.$file.'" --outdir="'.dirname($file).'"';
$last = exec($cmd, $out)
solved with the help of these two pages:
