OK, never mind, actually the arrows are just very faint. It's my responsibility to make their linewidth be nonzero, not yours. I would retract this bug report, but I don't seem to be able to. Sorry for the trouble.

LaTeXML uses the perl binding to ImageMagick for image processing.
ImageMagick provides quite a few parameters that can be used
to control conversion, such as color quantization, antialiasing,
and so on; perhaps there are some that could improve the conversion?
Of course, it can also be an endless, cyclical process to try
to tune the conversion so that it covers all cases.
Still, if you have the inclination to experiment, and have
suggestions, I'm listening!
I'll go ahead and mark this as "works for me".
