Segfault - mysql2_adapter.rb about mysql2 HOT 3 CLOSED

My environment:
Centos 5.5 on Rackspace Cloud Servers (64 bit)
Rails 3RC
Ruby 1.9.2rc2
MySQL server 5.0.77 (64 bit)

Thanks for posting, I'll keep an eye out as it sounds like it wasn't very easy to reproduce.
Could you give 0.2.2 a try and see if that helps at all? A couple of pretty important bug fixes were in 0.2.2, curious if that helps your situation at all...

Also, you might try upgrading to 1.9.2p0 since it's been released.

thanks for the response brian. You are correct that it is difficult to reproduce. I ended up switching back to mysql gem for the short term, but I will probably give it another go in the next month in the same environment. Its also very hard to tell if this was directly related to mysq2, but I thought I would let you know in case it was. I will upgrade to the latest v of 1.9.2 before I try again. I'll repost in this issue if I see it arise again. closing the ticket for now.
