Hey there -- to handle this kinda thing you'll need to store the selected _supplier somewhere -- either in the Redux store or in the State of a StatefulWidget, and ask Flutter to rebuild the Widget whenever it changes.

If you're storing the data in the Redux Store, you'd need to wrap this DropDownButton in a StoreConnector that will rebuild the DropDownButton whenever the State changes. Then, in the onChanged function, you'd need to dispatch an action to update the State of the store with the current selection.

If you're going the StatefulWidget route, you'd need to simply wrap the _supplier = newValue; call in a setState call, like so: setState(() { _supplier = newValue; });.
