Hi,
I'm sorry to be so slow replying. I am confused by this. With the latest point on master it should work and does for me. The changes were introduced by Marc Gronie in November of last year.
Is it possible you are picking up an older copy of the code?
Sorry for the trouble,

I install with pip, /usr/local/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/breathe-0.7.5.egg-info/

Hi,
So the documentation on github reflects the latest functionality in the github repository but not necessarily that of previous releases. Sorry for the confusion. I can try to do a new release of the latest if that would help, otherwise you can grab the code from github.
Cheers,
Michael

A new release is a good idea. :)

Hi,
Sorry for the delay. I've released a new v1.0.0 to the pypi with the latest code which should then match the documentation.
Thanks,
Michael
