I think it still has problems. A combo with Edi's language seems to work!

            -- Flagged
            set nFlagged to count ((every flattened task) whose ((flagged is true) or (parent task's flagged is true) or (containing project's flagged is true)) and (completed is false) and (blocked is false))
            if (nFlagged) > 0 then
                my conditions("Flagged")
                return
            end if

This language fixes the bug where the project was not flagged and, say, a nested-level-5 task inherited a flag from a nested-level-3 task, but the script wasn't picking it up:

set nFlagged to count ((every flattened task) whose ((flagged is true) or (parent task's flagged is true) or (containing project's flagged is true)) and (completed is false) and ((blocked is false) or (number of available tasks > 0)))

  • Latest version: avoids script triggering Flagged if only flagged item is a flagged project without any tasks.
set nFlagged to count ((every flattened task) whose ((flagged is true) or (parent task's flagged is true) or (containing project's flagged is true)) and (completed is false) and (parent task ≠ missing value) and ((blocked is false) or (number of available tasks > 0)))
