just the delivery system or you need other things by the way ?

When checking a mumudvb instance via /state/monitor.xml on the http
interface,
most configuration options are visible, but the delivery system is missing.

please add delivery system there,

Thanks for asking,
the Idea was to have everything in the webinterface to replicate the configuration on another machine or spot configuration mistakes from the monitoring solution monitoring reading monitor.xml.

In 2010 I was parsing /var/run/mumudvb/channels_streamed_adapter* b/c I didn't know about the monitor. Then I tried monitor, and opened this issue. There might be another thing, as dvb substream (if this becomes available). Or the various tweaks as "rewrite_eit=0" which I use in my default template by now ;)

So it sounds better if you could get the configuration ?

yes and no …
the config is nice, and tells what SHOULD be done,
the monitor can tell that and what IS CURRENTLY done.

when you talk about autoconfiguration, and config has most parameters on automatic, a monitor output can tell what setting has been found.

In case of a failover configuration I need to start a replacement quickly. Using configuration settings as %sid_lo for auto ip address, I hopefully settle to the same output.
Getting tables that the autoconfiguration follows (as e.g. PMT) as binary for dvbsnoop or parsed, is an additional plus, as this information can be used in status monitoring.

does that answer explains the use case I have in mind for monitor output?
Basically having mumudvb able to dump everything it knows about config and state is nice and opens unthought use cases. Sure, there might be info that should be protected when it comes to CAS/CAM, but I would leave that to the firewall for now.
