Could you:

• Set javascript.options.showInConsole to true in about:config
• Restart Firefox
• Paste here the error log output (Tools -> Web Developer -> Error console)

It seems that the "Progress Bar on Tab 1.0" is the reason.

firefox 15.0.1 broken too, the problem is caused by "VWC Cocoon" addon. In my case, the space occupied by the gtranslate menu entry does not even exist.

I try firefox 15.0.1 es-ES and en-US and both suffer the problem, only when i disabled "VWC Cocoon", gtranslate return to normality.
