cannot find whisper_autosrt.py about whisper_autosrt HOT 1 CLOSED

Honestly I'm not familiar with macOS.
But AFAIK in all OS, you should install the latest version of pip.

python -m pip install --upgrade pip

This app needs python minimal version 3.8.12.
Make sure your pip can install any other modules from pypi.
There is a posibility that there are some modules that can't be run on macOS.
To track down the culprit you can try to install all dependencies of this app one by one.
As you can see on this app 'setup.py' file this app requires these modules :

install_requires=[
    "requests>=2.3.0",
    "httpx>=0.24.0",
    "urllib3 >=1.26.0,<3.0",
    "pysrt>=1.0.1",
    "six>=1.11.0",
    "progressbar2>=3.34.3",
    "faster_whisper>=0.6.0",
]

Now try to install those modules one by one with pip

pip install --upgrade requests
pip install --upgrade httpx
(and so on)

If you can install all of these modules but not this whisper_autosrt app, please let me know.
