I reverted the change for Laravel 4.1 compatibility for the time being and will look into a definitive fix. Thanks for the heads up.

I split the Laravel versions up in two branches.
If you're on Laravel 4.0 use: "bogardo/mailgun": "v1.0" or "bogardo/mailgun": "dev-laravel-4.0"
And if you're on Laravel 4.1 use: "bogardo/mailgun": "v2.0" or "bogardo/mailgun": "dev-laravel-4.1"

Ok, after some horror encounters with Git I found a simple solution to support both Laravel 4.1 as 4.0.
I merged all the branches and now I'm back to a single branch.
Please update your composer file to require the dev-master again.
The two tagged versions will stay but the two branched dev-laravel-4.x have been removed.
