In principal you are right. I use FontAwesome for the shuffle icon. There is nothing that would fit your suggested icon. Due to the fact that almost all other players use the same kind of display style I will postpone this this request.

I revisited this request.
I did a design for non shuffle like your suggestion:
I will test the design but not sure if it will make it in the final release.
