Hi,
your are right, there was a bug in the reflection part that dealt with message type hierarchy. I fixed it and now interfaces are handled accordingly. But it will take another week or so until I have a new release ready.

Just checked out the latest snapshot of 1.1.7 and the code for getSuperclasses is still not right. It's only collecting interfaces for the Object class (which of course has no interfaces). The end result is the same as before.

I am having this problem also, I am using 1.1.6
