source location missing? about ast-types HOT 5 CLOSED

Are you parsing with require("esprima").parse(source, { loc: true }) or require("recast").parse(source) or something else?

Strangely, I don't see loc anywhere in the recastOptions, and I added it but it doesn't seem to have any effect. I'll look at the options more though.

Yeah, recast.parse calls esprima.parse with a hard-coded set of options (including loc:true) that don't depend on the options you pass to recast.parse: https://github.com/benjamn/recast/blob/1ddd828daa/lib/parser.js#L19-L22. Feel free to send pull requests for changes to that file.

If I print the whole AST before the transform call in visit.js, it does have the source location so I'm just doing something wrong. I'll into this more soon.
