In reply to your first question: attributes of DOM elements inside view are not removed, except for id (and render-id, as explained here.) The reason is that IDs should be unique, and a Bender component may be rendered several times inside the same document. So by default, IDs are not rendered (if you see other attributes missing, then this is a bug.)

However, you can use the render-id attribute on any element inside the view. When the value of this attribute is id, then the id of the element is rendered as an id attribute (so be careful to use it only for components that should be rendered only once!) Other legal values are class, where the id of the element is rendered as a class, or none, where the id of the element is not rendered, which is the default behavior. There are still some details to be fixed in a future version, but you can see an example in a4dfa23.
