Thanks @basnijholt, no problem take your time, but I'm pretty sure, removing label-badge-red from theme resolve the issue.

The inside should be the same color as surrounding the gauge (like in default: 0.0 W has a white background or complete transparent background). The inside should be transparent.
The actual value gauge background should not be that Black.... maybe light grey (as with default theme)?

Unfortunately, that is --primary-background-color, so making it another color would not make the theme "dark" anymore.

Ah, ok, I understand.... Transparent is not an option? The inside maybe 100% and the background for the Gauge value maybe 70% Transparent?

I added this to the ios-dark-mode.yaml to get the gauge to show red:
label-badge-red: rgba(195, 66, 63, 0.8)
