I installed custom-header, but the top bar in iOS (where battery level is located) is still blue:
Any other recommendations?

The blue top is fixed by the app AFAIU.

If you set the theme as backend selected on your device and use the frontend.set_theme service, it changes the top bar color to match the theme.

@Crocmagnon Great! But could you specify in details how you call this service? I use the UI to change the themes but wonder how to call the service?

For a simple one shot, you can use the services page in the developer tools:
A restart of home assistant doesn't seem to keep the theme value though.
For a more long term use, you could create an input_select listing your themes (you'll have to add them manually to your select list) and an automation triggered when changing the select and using the new value as the argument to the service call.
