I'm going to be taking a look at the WiFi patch soon and I'll see if I can do anything to make it more stable (I think I should be able to, but I don't want to get more specific before actually trying anything).

It turns out that there's an updated version of the WiFi patch, and in my testing it's much more stable/less buggy. It's currently in the dev-v0.0.21 branch; I'll close this bug once it lands on main (probably in less than a day).

v0.1.0 Worked perfectly @barrykn!! I would maybe add to step 9, that you must restart and patch patch-kexts.sh then restart.

I'm not sure why a restart would be necessary before running patch-kexts.sh (I think I got rid of that requirement a couple of releases ago), but yes a restart is needed afterward, and if that's not clear then I should clarify that in the next release.

Sorry I was more saying to add in that step that the 2012 Mac mini needs to have that patch done.

Maybe I need to rephrase that step more clearly, but what it's supposed to indicate is that all Macs need that patching step except (a) Late 2013 iMacs and (b) 2012-2013 Macs with upgraded WiFi cards (something that seems to be a lot more prevalent than I originally expected, by the way). Eventually I want to add a check to patch-kexts.sh so that it doesn't install the WiFi patch on Macs that don't need the patch (that would make it safe to just run the step unconditionally), but I haven't implemented that yet (it's trickier than it appears at first, but it should still be feasible).

Oops, forgot to close this issue earlier.
