And why should you use python embedded and not the casual python installer?

I have a higher (and incompatible) version of python installed globally on
my system. This way I can run boom-pow regardless of the globally installed
python.

As of boompow version 3.0.1 you can use the casual python 3.9 (which is the highest version). Maybe you've not noticed the release?
