Map event to value (convenience function) about bacon.js HOT 4 CLOSED

What kind of events does this apply to?

For me, it seems a bit specific for inclusion in the core. I've added a bunch of DOM/jQuery specific helpers into Bacon.UI.

For me, it would make sense to create separate libraries for specific domains (like jQuery, DOM, node.js, websockets and so on). We can link to those libraries from the core README and later the bacon.js website (will exist someday).

I'm finding this particular pattern recurring a lot with forms. Bacon.ui makes sense.

Yeah, that's a recurring pattern. Bacon.UI.textFieldValue should do the trick for you.

Looks like bacon.ui is missing a radio field function. I'll submit one.
