Thank you for the solution @LittlePea13.
I believe the following should be added before resize_token_embeddings for some datasets to work:

if conf.dataset_name.split('/')[-1] == 'conll04_typed.py':
    tokenizer.add_tokens(['<peop>', '<org>', '<other>', '<loc>'], special_tokens = True)
if conf.dataset_name.split('/')[-1] == 'nyt_typed.py':
    tokenizer.add_tokens(['<loc>', '<org>', '<per>'], special_tokens = True)
if conf.dataset_name.split('/')[-1] == 'docred_typed.py':
    tokenizer.add_tokens(['<loc>', '<misc>', '<per>', '<num>', '<time>', '<org>'], special_tokens = True)

Hi @Jinjikiko thanks for the issue. I believe it is an issue with the hparams not being a dict but a omegaconf.DictConfig in the saved checkpoint.

For now, you can actually just comment line 157 from pytorch_lightning/core/saving.py and it will work.
