just built solution in VS 2015 fine. Pls try again.

@epallares the build.cmd script uses VS 2013:
azure-iot-protocol-gateway/build.cmd

Your output confirms this:
Microsoft (R) Build Engine version 12.0.31101.0
Your options are:
- Build from Visual Studio itself
- Update the build.cmd script to reference %VS140COMNTOOLS% instead so it uses VS 2015
