If you could enable trace level debugging for node-red in settings.js and also run node-red with environment variable DEBUG=home-assistant* and inspect the home-assistant server logs it would be helpful. One ( or all of those probably ) should point out the specific issue. If it's something that needs a bug fix I can do that but I don't currently have any tts service setup ( although not sure why it would make a difference, a service is a service afaik )

After playing around (and upgrading hassio) it seems to now be working, and I didn't change anything else...:
