Hi @ashattack, I'm assuming you mean "seeing" vs. "missing," but let me know if I'm off-base.
My understanding is that concealing the API Gateway endpoint shouldn't be necessary. Enterprising users can just open up the developer tools in the browser and see the calls being made to your-api.execute-api.your-region.amazonaws.com/your-stage, etc. I think it's fine to leave that string in code.
I don't know much about adding Cognito authentication to an application, only to Amazon Elasticsearch Service, but I suspect that user pool IDs aren't considered sensitive information. As long as you're not storing credentials directly in code, I think you're OK.
