The hostapd.EventUnrecognized messages are expected. There are many types of messages that hostapd sends that wifi-presence doesn't care or know about, and so it ignores them and logs messages like the ones you've included.

What gets logged by wifi-presence when you connect or disconnect a device you'd like to track? Have you created the MQTT configuration to let wifi-presence know which MAC addresses to track, like described here?

Yes, I did the config, but it seemed not be working. Maybe I did something wrong. I will try again later today.

Is there a way to hide this kind of messages? Give an error with a message that it doesn't care is too much. This kind of messages is good to see when we are debugging the app, but not when it is working in a regular manner. I understand to log the messages that are important for wifi-presence, but not the ones that not.

Regards!

The verbose config option, if set to false or not set at all, should disable these types of messages.

@McGiverGim I'm closing this due to inactivity. Please re-open if anything else needs addressing.
