Is this a completely isolated ME system?

Ellie's is, yes and it's having the same issue as the Kuiser ME system, not just Vis crystals but also other items (such as TD Tanks as I found out today) randomly disappear.

well, they haven disappeared completely but they do appear and disappear randomly, like they're oscillating

I believe this is a bug with AE2, and would be better raised on its issue tracker.
