Its cause no change event is triggered when changing the input value manually. Just add trigger('change'): http://jsfiddle.net/Ve9Nt/3/

Yes, I ended up doing that. However I think it would be beneficial for it to automatically update the presentation based on the value, as it would reduce duplicate code.

you can add "timer.change();" after "timer.val(next_value);"

I have several inputs with the same class, when I change the value of one of them, the other change too, how can I fix this without duplicating the code that @eskimoblood wrote ?
