Hi @tyilo I understand this issue, as a quick work around you can currently register you tabular inlines to admin as usual ones and then add to them while using select2 widgets to add them up later. This would also give you ability to add them on the fly while using select2 widgets.

This issue is major while working in TabularInline and would have effected the release anyways for version 1.5.0 which was launched today i.e. Tuesday May 29, 2018. This would be resolved shortly.

I would also like to use django-easy-select2 for StackedInline. Any idea on the eta for this feature?

@RyanStack it would be released shorty in a few days. Some tests are being done.
I ll update you with some quick fix if its gonna take time.
