The cmake regression framework downloads a given sopt commit/branch/tag (currently, the head of approx-admm). Regressions will be done by comparing in the same test calculations with c++ and c implementations. This allows to use the C++ operators in the C code and the C operator in the c++ code, run for x number of iterations and check the result at larger and larger number of tests, etc...
It also becomes a how-to on going from C to C++, since it should run both codes in the same setting.
