Thank you for the detailed report. It made reproduction of the issue very straightforward.
Your suggestion for a fix was also entirely correct. : )
As such, there's now a new release available which should fix the issue. Please check it out.

Thank you for the quick fix! I can confirm that the Reader is now able to read the problematic file we encountered correctly.
Sorry if I am getting greedy, but I'm going to open another issue regarding one more minor problem we encountered while testing your library. That one should hopefully be a bit easier.
