I can confirm, the version of makerom was built using "Debug" in visual studio instead of release and hence is causing the issues (as most users won't have visual studio development/debug dlls.)

I recommend downloading an older build until it is fixed.

i have the same problem but i think i should download the vcruntime40 32cand 64 bit place in the windows folder

@mvpkobe31 That will not fix the issue as the files required are the DEBUG versions, which are named as vcruntime140d.dll and using the regular files will NOT fix the issue. (Yes, even renaming them does not work.)

@mvpkobe31 as I'm not at my main Windows machine until next week I can't say for certain, but it should be rather trivial to test older version to see what works. Try 11, if that has issues, then try version 10. Check the releases page.

i did it but in v12 i fix dll but later say after rebuild batch y/n so

hey if i cant with the v12 toolkit 3ds can i transfer all the file i

@mvpkobe31 I don't know, but it's worth attempting. What exactly are you trying to do in particular, if you're looking to rebuild a .3ds as a CIA you can use Decrypt9WIP to do so directly on your device.

i have the real cia no 3ds but when i rebuild the cia at the end say patch
and then a word y and n by mistake i put y instead n

i have problem in v11 toolkit i does not rebuild but can i transfer all the file from toolkit 3ds v11 to the v9 and finish rebuild there

I would do a fresh clean install of V9 and try it with that.

what i did was v11 from toolkit does no rebuild a cia but extracted all the
file and folders what i did was transfer all file a folder fron hacking
toolkit 3ds v11 to the v9 to finish rebuild because i have everything set
up i just need rebuild so i copy a paste it on v9 to finish but it worked
havent check if is randomizer my pokemon game

Replace makerom.exe in "C:\Program Files (x86)\HackingToolkit9DS" (after setup) by the last official version :
