How would that work? Do you know of a library that can convert JSX strings to HTML?

Taking a 101 JSX piece of code:

What should the desired output be?

I think you would only pasting a JSX expression. So from your example you'd paste in:

<h1>
  Hello, {formatName(user)}!
</h1>

and get back

m('h1',
  "Hello, ", formatName(user), "!"
)
