You'll probably have to adapt it to to the current data managers (e.g. they don't live in the testtoolshed anymore.)
This is a 0.2 milestone issue, I would say make sure that running and updating a galaxy instance using ansible works without a hitch before attempting this.

Given the idea to publish an application note I think this is out of scope.
It doesn't work well, makes a big image and so on.
People will just have to do this through the admin interface for the time being (Which we can document).
